About the Work
About the Edition
Nocturne is a musical meditation on a text from the book Silence and the Gift by the poet Richard Beale. The text reads in part:
Teach me the path
Of forgiving love
I would let go
Of resentment and remorse
The music is open and uncomplicated, but asks for a deep understanding.
