About Kevin

Kevin Krumenauer is a composer and bass trombonist whose music explores themes of transcendence, beauty, and transformation. A former Deacon in the Episcopal Church, Kevin blends sacred and mystical ideas with propulsive rhythms and innovative harmonies to create works that emotionally connect with performers and audiences.

His compositions have been performed across the U.S. and internationally, commissioned by ensembles such as the Charles River Wind Ensemble, Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony, and Dartmouth College. Kevin studied composition with Margaret Brouwer and theology at Ashland Theological Seminary, with mentorship from David Maslanka.

He currently teaches at the Bloomingdale School of Music in New York City.
